⏺ In this post , we will discuss about how to be a fast runner . So let's get started.......

⏺ Is only legs make a runner fast???? ........ Answer is no ....

 Let's take an example , like car wheels move fast when we accelerate but in actual not only wheels are accelerating the car but engine also ....... Same goes with our legs and body ...

⏹⏹ Tips to be a fast runner ⏹⏹

 1.) Train your lower body :-

    If your lower body is not strong , then you can't be a fast runner or can't run faster than your competitors....

    Lower body includes ankles , calves , thighs , under thighs etc.... To make these part stronger you can do exercises like squats , ankle running , lower body yoga etc...

2.) Maintain your weight :- 

   Ask your fitness advisor to check your weight and weight distribution , if you are under weight , balanced or over weight . As weight plays a major role in building of a fast runner......

    If your body is over weight , you will take more time to come in motion . If your body is underweight then this can decrease your stability ....

So , it's advised to maintain a balanced weight and a balanced weight distribution......

3.) Increase your lubrication and flexibility :-

   During running  ankle joints , knee joints and thigh joints do  most of the
work  , so it's important to maintain proper lubrication and flexibility between these joints .......

   You can use supplements or ayurvedic herb which helps to support lubrication and flexibility between joints ......

4.) Balanced diet  :- 

   All nutrients , vitamins , oils etc.  are very important part of running , as these are the basic requirement of our all body part to give their max performance.....

  Lack of calcium , lack of iron or any other deficiency can decrease your running speed . So it's very important to take a balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients and vitamins.....

5.) Choose appropriate shoes :-  

    Shoes plays a major rule in fast running . Shoes decrease some effort during running , which directly or indirectly increase running distance.....

    If you are using high heel shoes during running , this can decrease your running speed ... So always try to choose best shoes which have best grip and which are only made for running ......

6.) Increase your breathing power :- 

   Like when we sudden accelerate a car , car will burn more fuel and will consume more air , to give that much acceleration which we want ......

   Like that , our heart and lungs plays a major role during running , as when we start to run , heart pumps more and more blood to body , this increase demand of oxygen in blood ........ So it's  important to make these two organs stronger .....

To make these organs stronger you can do pranayama , breath longer etc.  Or you can consult Your Yoga teacher.......

7.) Choose a hard running path :- 

    If you are running on a same path daily , your legs can be addictive to that path or to that running track ....

   Try to change your track once in a week harder than your regular running track. Like it can be a sandy way , rocky way or where there is no roads....

If you are covering 1km in five minutes then try to cover same distance in five minutes on that harder track . This will increase your running speed on your regular track and this is my own personal experience......

8.) Be continuous :- 

    Continuation is the key to achieve fast running . If you are running once in a week or four to five time in a month or you are not continuous in running , then you can't become a fast runner.....

 Try to run daily , daily exercise and Yoga daily so that your all body become stronger which directly promotes fast running......

9.) Be confident :-

    Try to be confident about your running that you can run faster than anyone in this world.

    This type of thinking will directly create a positive contact between your brain and legs , which promotes a stable and a steady long distance fast running.....

10.) Increase your stability and power :- 

     Stability and power/stamina plays a major role in fast and long running...

 You can increase your power by eating raw asparagus and ashwagandha....

A single stability mistake can take you out from the race so do proper stability exercises which includes squats , ankles running , thigh squats , walking , warming , lower body Yoga ........

11.) Start massaging :- 

     Massaging once in a week , increases flexibility and lubrication between muscles and joints , also beneficial for skin and all body .....

    Try to do massaging once in a week , this will increase your running speed and stability during running.......

12.) Choose or increase your distance :- 

      If you targeting to win 100m race , try to run double of it for at least seven days in a week , this distance can be longer or shorter , depending upon targeting distance .....

This practice will increase your initial running speed .....

13.) Beat your own record :- 

     If you are covering 1 km distance in five minutes on consistent basis , then try to cover in four minutes , this will not come in one day but you will break your previous record , if you follow this type of mindset .....

This practice will increase your confident and running speed + distance to run ......
